More Detail

Answers to your SUPERHUGE questions

File types
  • We can convert most 3d file types. However ideally you should supply .stl or .obj

Print resolution
  • 10mm layer resolution means we can smooth to a fine finish and deliver to Chinchilla’s high standards.

Maximum size
  • There is no theoretical limit to SUPERHUGE thanks to our proprietary software and systems. If you have a project larger than 5m please specify and we will quote it.

Turnaround time
Digital file creation
  • Please allow time to create the file(s). If we are sculpting/creating the file(s) for your print we will advise a time-frame at the time of enquiry / quoting.
Print
  • Each project is unique so there is no standard amount of time per project however to give you an idea - We aim to print a 2-metre project within 2-3wks and a 5-metre project within 6-8wks. We will advise a provisional delivery date at the time of order. You can also specify a delivery date and we will aim to work to it.

Delivery / Installation
  • Delivery costs are quoted based on delivery information which you provide. We will always endeavour to complete installation within the allotted time but will need to charge extra if installation takes longer due to factors outside our control (access to the site is delayed, or the site is different to the description for example).
H&S
Structural Engineers
  • On your instruction we can include sign-off by structural engineers. This means you can potentially order a sculpted 'pop-up shop' for example, safe in the knowledge it has been designed properly and safely.
Fire Rating
  • All our prints are Fire Rated Class 0.

Materials & Recycling
  • We use only Fire-Rated High Density Polystyrene for all our prints. Our system uses up to 80% less material than conventional methods, and all our polystyrene waste is 100% recycled.

Large-scale projects
  • OK yes all our projects are large, but we can accommodate Mammoth projects with multiple elements - i.e. for film sets or theme parks. Talk to us to understand how we can help.

Costs & Payment
Printing
  • Once costs are agreed and 3d file(s) signed off, there will be no additional or hidden print costs.
  • 50% payment is due with order to commence work, and balance payment is due prior to delivery. No exceptions will be made.

Coating & Painting
  • If you require further finishing to your project we can recommend individual coaters & painters or for full project management we recommend Beautifulwonder who bring 25 years experience in TV and Display to your project. Please include your requirements in the initial brief.
